§ 51180.4. Continuous Home Care. Continuous home care means care provided in the individual's residence, which consists predominately of skilled nursing care, for a minimum of eight hours in a 24-hour period, for the palliation or management of acute medical symptoms and/or when the family or caregiver is physically or emotionally unable to manage the patient's care.
