§ 51179.9. Protocol. “Protocol” means written procedures for providing psychosocial, nutrition, and health education services and related case coordination. Protocols shall be approved by the Comprehensive Perinatal Provider as defined in Section 51179.7(a)(1) and the Comprehensive Perinatal Practitioners as defined in Sections 51179.7(a)(6)() or 51179.7(a)(6)(B), and Section 51179.7(a)(7)(A) and Section 51179.7(a)(9). Protocols shall be developed, approved, and adopted within six months of the effective date of provider approval as a Comprehensive Perinatal Provider.
