§ 51147. Medical Social Work or Medical Social Services. Medical Social Work or Medical Social Services, as referred to in Section 51125 and 51129 means professional services, provided by a person with a master's degree from a recognized school of social work, to assist individuals and groups in their efforts to solve medical-social problems that arise as a result of their illness or disabilities.
