§ 51000.24.5. Substance Use Disorder Treatment Professional. “Substance Use Disorder Treatment Professional” means an individual that provides clinical services prescribed for beneficiaries admitted, registered, or accepted for care by the substance use disorder clinic and is either:
(a)
An intern registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or with the Board of Psychology; or
(b)
An alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselor that is registered or certified pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Section 13035.
