§ 41145. Licensed Medical Laboratory. Blood specimens withdrawn pursuant to section 41144 shall be transmitted to a licensed medical laboratory that has been approved by the State Department of Health Services, Laboratory Field Services. Medical laboratories shall be approved for conducting HIV testing pursuant to Title 8 (commencing with section 7500 of the Penal Code) in accordance with Title 17, section 1230, California Code of Regulations.
