§ 40655. Program. Program means the California Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), authorized by Section 17 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966, as amended, which is administered and funded by USDA and operated pursuant to a Federal/State Agreement. In the event that there is a conflict between the state Program and federal policy, statutes or regulations, the federal policy, statutes or regulations shall prevail.
