§ 111120. General Requirements of State/County Plan of Cooperation.

(a)

The State/County Plan of Cooperation shall be one year in duration, commencing at the start of the federal fiscal year, and shall be subject to renewal or amendment as necessary to reflect new or revised state and federal laws, regulations and requirements. Failure of the parties to amend the State/County Plan of Cooperation to reflect new or revised state and federal laws and regulations does not relieve the local child support agency of the responsibility to act in accordance with those laws, regulations, and requirements.

(b)

The State/County Plan of Cooperation shall be signed by the director of the local child support agency and returned to the Department by the commencement of the federal fiscal year.

(c)

Failure to sign and return the State/County Plan of Cooperation by the start of each federal fiscal year may result in the withholding of part or all of the state or federal funds, including incentive funds, or other compliance actions authorized by state or federal law, regulation or policy.
