Definitions.

Commission. “Commission” means the California Medical Assistance Commission.

Contract. “Contract” means a written agreement, or amendments to such an agreement, between a health care provider and the State of California, the terms, services, and rate(s) of which were negotiated by the commission, its executive director, or the Office of Special Health Care Negotiations, or an amendment or modification to such agreement.

Contractor. “Contractor” means a health care provider who is a party to a contract or who is negotiating a proposed contract.

Members, Chairperson, Executive Director. “Members,” “chairperson” and “executive director” mean respectively the members and chairperson of, and the executive director to the California Medical Assistance Commission.
