§ 100166.01. Advanced Life Support. “Advanced life support” or “ALS” as used in this Chapter means any definitive prehospital emergency medical care role approved by the local EMS agency, in accordance with state regulations, which includes all of the specialized care services listed in Section 1797.52 of the Health and Safety Code.
