§ 100140.01. General Acute Care Hospitals Not Designated as a Trauma Center, Pediatric Trauma R...

(a)

A general acute care hospital (GACH) within a local EMS system that has implemented a trauma care system, but which has not been designated as a trauma center, pediatric trauma receiving center, or a trauma receiving hospital under this article, shall meet the requirements under Section 100142.01 of this subchapter in relation to the re-triage of trauma patients.

(b)

Non-designated GACHs are subject to all applicable requirements under Article 5 of this subchapter.

(c)

A LEMSA medical director may establish requirements for non-designated GACHs, in addition to that which is required under this section.
