§ 100138.08. Trauma Service. A “trauma service” is a clinical service established by the organized medical staff, in accordance with hospital governance and applicable law, of a trauma center that has oversight and responsibility of the care of the trauma patient. Trauma services include, but are not limited to, direct patient care services, administration, and as needed, support functions to provide medical care.
