§ 100138.03. Re-Triage. “Re-triage” means the immediate evaluation, resuscitation and transport of a seriously injured patient from a lower-level Trauma Center or non-trauma facility to a Trauma Center at a higher level of care. This process involves direct emergency department to emergency department transfer of patients.
