§ 100002.01. Ambulance Patient Offload Delay (APOD). “Ambulance patient offload delay” or “APOD” is defined as an APOT which exceeds the APOT standard set by the LEMSA within whose jurisdiction the receiving GACH with an emergency department is located. APOD is synonymous with the term “nonstandard patient offload time” as defined by Section 1797.225 of the Health and Safety Code.
